Membership Issues

The most important issue facing every member of the AMO today is money.  It is painfully clear that there is room for improvement in many areas of the union and plans finances.  You deserve a better financial future.  And it can be done without increases in dues or additional costs to the contracted companies.  We must have changes that result in a union administration operating with the utmost fiduciary responsibility.  We must have changes that place the working members first.  

 

The AMC was founded in 2005 to help rebuild a democratic union government.  The quickest way to solve the issues facing the union is by empowering the membership.  That has been our mission. The AMC always has and always will represent the welfare of the entire AMO membership.

 

In unprecedented successes, the AMC has achieved reform in union government and from past mismanagement of the AMO.  But there is still a lot of work to be done.  We are not letting up on our efforts to help build union financial security that will benefit the entire AMO membership.
